The Avenue Pub, 1732 St. Charles Ave.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a great beer with a green label and a green spirit! They have teamed up with the Avenue Pub to support local environmental and water management projects by each donating $1 from the sale of every pint of Pale Ale this month. These proceeds will support community initiatives via the NOLA Connects matching fund. More information about current projects can be found at nolaconnects.org.
The fundraiser runs all month, but make sure to mark your calendars for Earth Day on Sunday, April 22 when The Avenue Pub will host an afternoon celebration! We’ll be on hand 1 – 5 p.m. to talk about using smart water management to create a greener Greater New Orleans!
The future site of the Mirabeau Water Garden needs some help with trash pick up! The Water Collaborative is heading over to Gentilly to pick up trash on March 24th for LPBF’s 4th Annual Spring Sweep! Come join us!

Happening this November, WATERFRONT is a month-long exploration of water in our region with the members of the Water Collaborative of Greater New Orleans. Now in its third year, WATERFRONT offers something for everyone:
- learn more about environmental science at lectures and workshops;
- celebrate our waterways through art and food; or
- be part of the solution at tree plantings and clean ups.
This year’s WATERFRONT series features a variety of events across the Greater New Orleans area. Some are free and some charge a fee, but there is sure to be something for everyone! Check out the events here to see more information about each event and register/rsvp as needed!
