Now showing at Cherry Espresso Bar, 4877 Laurel St., NOLA | WATER is a photography exhibit highlighting the place of water in the fabric of our city. The photographer, @nateus, has generously offered to donate the proceeds of all sales of framed and unframed photos to the Water Collaborative. Make plans now to attend an artist’s reception on Aug. 17 at 5:30 p.m. You’ll be transfixed by these images showing how water reflects back to us the spirit of our city.

The Avenue Pub, 1732 St. Charles Ave.
Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is a great beer with a green label and a green spirit! They have teamed up with the Avenue Pub to support local environmental and water management projects by each donating $1 from the sale of every pint of Pale Ale this month. These proceeds will support community initiatives via the NOLA Connects matching fund. More information about current projects can be found at nolaconnects.org.
The fundraiser runs all month, but make sure to mark your calendars for Earth Day on Sunday, April 22 when The Avenue Pub will host an afternoon celebration! We’ll be on hand 1 – 5 p.m. to talk about using smart water management to create a greener Greater New Orleans!
