
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Research
Research social media trends.
Gather information on changes to federal and state water & environmental policy, as well as current events.
Be able to summarize findings for Engagement Team and identify important data points.
Content Creation
Assist with the creation of social media content, including reels, flyers, carousels, etc.
Ideal candidate will have familiarity with design/ editing software, such as Canva, CapCut, etc.
Team Collaboration
Attend weekly check-ins with the Engagement Team to discuss ongoing projects and goals.
Complete additional research tasks as requested by the Engagement Team.
Qualifications:
Interest in media, environmental work, sustainability, or community engagement;
Strong communications skills;
Video editing skills preferred.
Learning Opportunities:
Collaborate with a dynamic team dedicated to water sustainability and equity.
Build a network of professionals in the environmental sector.
Expectations:
Commit to an average of 10–15 hours per week from April to September.
Be punctual and communicate proactively about availability and deadlines.
This is a paid position. We offer a $400 monthly stipend to be paid the first of the month.
