Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA)
About
The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), also known as the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law (BIL), is the largest investment in water infrastructure in decades. Through this act, more than $50 billion has been allocated to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and to improve our nation's water systems; including drinking water, wastewater, stormwater, flood mitigation, lead service line replacement, PFAS reduction, and other clean water provisions. It will also commit funding to the Gulf Coast Hypoxia Task Force, the National Estuary Program, and restoration of Lake Pontchartrain.
